Network Infrastructure
Apartments require a stable LAN with a dedicated VLAN for IPTV traffic. Minimum bandwidth: 10 Mbps per unit for Full HD content. For 4K content: at least 25 Mbps per unit, plus a reserve for VOD, casting, and general guest Wi-Fi.
For dispersed properties, fibre interconnects between buildings or metro network solutions are standard. Every access point must reach the central middleware server.

Multilingual Interface
Short-stay apartment properties host guests from across Europe and beyond. The IPTV interface should support at least 5–6 languages and ideally auto-select based on the booking language recorded in the channel manager.
VOD and Streaming
Long-stay guests (weekly bookings and beyond) particularly value access to on-demand films and series. A VOD library or streaming platform integration is a genuine differentiator in a competitive market.
