DVB-T2 over your existing LAN.
No renovation needed.

TV over Ethernet encodes broadcast television signals and distributes them across your hotel's existing Cat5e/6 network — the same cables that carry internet and VoIP. No new coaxial cable, no antenna masts, no renovation works.

TV over Ethernet

What TV over Ethernet means for your hotel

Traditional hotel TV distribution uses a coaxial cable network — expensive to install in new buildings and even more expensive to retrofit into existing ones. TV over Ethernet replaces that coaxial distribution layer with IP encoding. A compact headend unit receives DVB-T2 or DVB-S2 broadcast signals and converts them into IP multicast streams that travel over standard Cat5e or Cat6 network cables to every guest room. The result is the same broadcast channel lineup — delivered without touching your walls.

Benefits

Why hotels choose TV over Ethernet

settings_ethernet

Uses your existing network cabling

Cat5e or Cat6 cables are already in every hotel room for internet and phone. TV over Ethernet adds broadcast television to that same cable — no new wiring, no disruption to guests during installation.

engineering

No renovation, no construction

Running coaxial cable through a finished hotel building means opening walls, disturbing guests and paying for construction work. TV over Ethernet avoids all of that — encoding happens in the comms room, distribution happens over the existing LAN.

verified

Full broadcast channel lineup

Guests receive all available DVB-T2 broadcast channels in the region — national channels, regional news, sports — exactly as they would via a traditional coaxial antenna system, but delivered over the LAN.

shield

Resilient and manageable

IP-based distribution is more resilient than passive coaxial: signal quality is consistent regardless of cable length or splitter count. Channel management and diagnostics are remote — no on-site visit needed for most issues.
