Philips MediaSuite 6000 & 7000 – Next-Gen Smart TVs for Hotels

Philips MediaSuite 6000 & 7000 — new hotel TVs that raise the bar

In 2026, a new generation of Philips MediaSuite TVs will arrive in hotels: the 6000 Series (with Ambilight) and the 7000 UltraSlim Series. This evolution combines what guests truly expect — Netflix, casting, AirPlay, and cloud gaming — with what hotels really need: lower energy use, simple management, and strong network security.

New Philips Mediasuite 6000 and 7000 hotel TVs

What’s new in Philips MediaSuite 6000 and 7000

  • Netflix-ready + full Google Mobile Services (Google-certified, including Chromecast). Guests log in as at home — all data is automatically deleted at checkout.
  • Apple AirPlay as an additional streaming option (requires gateway and integrator setup).
  • Cloud gaming without a console — play your own subscription games on the big screen.
  • Bandwidth Guard — limits data usage and keeps the in-room network stable.
  • Improved energy efficiency: first hotel TVs with the EU Energy Label E (most sizes), F for 43”.
  • CMND / PMS integration, OTA updates, and long-term software support.

MediaSuite 6000 — Ambilight for the hotel room

The 6000 Series (43”, 50”, 55”, 65”, 75”, 85”) is the only hotel TV line with Ambilight. The LED backlight extends the picture onto the wall, enhancing immersion and visual comfort. Hotels can match the color scheme to their interior or brand. A small detail — but one that boosts guest satisfaction and makes a room stand out.

Best for:
Premium rooms and suites, boutique and lifestyle hotels where the “wow effect” matters.

MediaSuite 7000 UltraSlim — when space and durability matter

The 7000 Series is less than 3 cm thick and available in 24”, 32” (FHD), and 43”, 50”, 55”, 65” (4K). It features a conformal coating that protects electronics from salt, dust, and humidity — ideal for seaside resorts and cruise ships. PPDS+1

Best for:
Compact rooms, ship cabins, or locations with mounting limitations and high durability requirements.

Streaming, gaming, and privacy — just like home, but safer

  • Netflix-ready, thousands of Google Play apps, Google Cast and Apple AirPlay — instant access to personal entertainment.
  • Automatic data wipe at checkout ensures guest privacy.
  • Bluetooth® Headphones — silent movie nights, family comfort, and gamer convenience.

Less network pain: Bandwidth Guard

The new Bandwidth Guard feature helps control room data usage, reduce link load, and even enable streaming where fiber is not available. A real cost-saver that simplifies hotel network design.

TV integrated with your hotel infrastructure

  • Triple tuner (cable/sat/terrestrial) on one channel list and easy IPTV integration.
  • Central management via PPDS CMND or PMS connection, with cloud-based firmware and feature updates.
  • Energy efficiency: EU Label E and low Ambilight consumption mean lower bills and better ESG performance.

Availability

Both series will launch globally in 2026. Release dates may vary by country. The new MediaSuite lineup will be showcased at ISE 2026, booth 3P500.

Which series should you choose? iBeeQ quick tips

  • Want to impress guests and boost NPS? Choose MediaSuite 6000 (Ambilight) — perfect for 55–65” rooms.
  • Limited space or coastal installation? MediaSuite 7000 UltraSlim — thin profile and extra protection.
  • Poor internet connection? Activate Bandwidth Guard and plan a gradual network upgrade.
  • BYOC standard? Enable Google Cast and AirPlay (remember the AirPlay gateway).

How iBeeQ implements MediaSuite

  1. Network and TV audit (bandwidth, VLANs, multicast, Wi-Fi coverage).
  2. Project design: choosing series, screen sizes, mounts, CMND setup, and data policies.
  3. Seamless streaming: configuring Cast + AirPlay and Bandwidth Guard to avoid buffering.
  4. IPTV/PMS integration, channel list setup (triple tuner), Netflix onboarding.
  5. Service and OTA updates — periodic reviews, firmware updates, and optimization for real use.

Summary

The Philips MediaSuite 6000 and 7000 aren’t just “another set of hotel TVs.” They are a platform for competitive advantage: higher guest satisfaction, lower network load, energy savings, and central management. Combined with a well-designed LAN/Wi-Fi infrastructure by iBeeQ, they form a reliable and modern in-room entertainment ecosystem.
